Moneve is an elderlycat-very old, white, and as beautiful as snow She is calm, friendly, and loves making new friends.
Moneve lives in a very fancy neighborhood. The entirecommunity is made up of cats of all colors, shapes, and sizes. There are black cats, orange cats, striped cats, gray cats, and even cats with two or three colors. There isn’ta single albino cat with one eye each color like Moneve. Her big eyes shine like streetlights— one green, the other deep navy blue Because she was different, the other cats didn’t accept her, and that made her very sad Sometimes, she would go out at night, hoping to play with her neighbors, but instead, she was met with hurtful comments from those she considered her friends Some mean cats would shout:
"Hey, kitty! Get out of here! You can’t be part of our group. You’re not like us!"
"Around here, we like to go out exploring, jumping, and running under the sun We don’t want weak little kittens in our group, got it?"
Some of the other cats, harsher and more direct, would say: "You’re way too ugly, girl—boring, colorless..."
And then, the leader of the gang sneered:
"You look so crookedwith those two-colored eyes! Geez! How weird!!!You’re the strangest creature I’ve ever seen!!!"
Even the little kitten, watchingfrom the corner, dared to chime in: "Stay away from her! White cats only bring bad luck!"
After a while, they even made up a song to mock poor Moneve:
“Go
away, go away, littlewhite cat, Ugly, crooked, boring, and flat,
All you bring is bad luckthat’s that!!”
Moneve couldn’t go outside beforesunset because her ears were very sensitive to daylight. Even so, she felt the urge to experience the world in the daylight. So, she decided to spend an entire week exploring her neighborhood.
It was a disaster — her ears burnedbadly, leaving them raw and covered in terrible wounds.
Moneve’s owners took her to the vet, but the worst was yet to come. After examining her, the vet had no choice—he had to remove the poor kitten’s ears.
When Moneve got home, she felt overwhelmed with shame. To stop the other cats from making fun of her even more, she decided to lock herself away and stay hidden.
Two weeks passed, and seeing how sad Monevewas, her ownersdecided to cheerher up with a special gift - a pair of brand-new toy ears. But the moment she put them on, something incredible happened. They were magical - and they gave her the power to fly!.
Without a second thought, Moneve set off on a new adventure, eager to show off her new ears to her so-called friends.
Suddenly, there was a big commotion! The entire neighborhood was in panic - all the cats were desperate. At the top of a tall pine tree, a tiny kitten was trapped, terrified. Even the strongestcats wouldn’t dare climb that high. No one could reach the poor kitty! At that exact moment, Moneve remembered - she could fly with her magical ears!
no doubt aboutit! With a Moneve took off, and in an eye, she reached the the pine tree.
