YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE !
SEEZ magazine is an independent publication of creative and urban trends that are looking forward to bringing together and expanding the culture of Generation Z, from fields like art, fashion and music.
The target audience would be the young public, especially the generation Z and also through attractive topics, target an older audience who curious about the actual culture.
THE IDEA
The SEEZ project comes from the lack of this product, there is not such a publication that only focuses on the youngest generation. Since I start my course in Graphic Design I have always had an interest in editorial design and with time I discovered that there are just a few articles about this topic in other magazines. That is why I propose I work on a publication that celebrates the youth culture, especially on generation Z.
The aim of this project is to bring the youth culture closer to any personal profile. This generation is full of creativity and self-expression, and everyone should know how capable we are of shaping the future in a positive way. It would be a publication in which photography is the main element, taking up most of the pages to show different elements in detail. As well, it aims to recover the printed format that millennials have killed by the birth of online magazines. Gen Z spends more time reading print than they do on digital platforms, demonstrating that they are capable to revive it.

Z
Gen Z is the newest generation, born between 1997 and 2012. They were born in the digital era, becoming the first generation to have the mass adoption of the internet. Which sometimes causes them to be stereotyped as tech-addicted, anti-social. But born in a world full of comments and likes, prepared them to speak up and be called “social justice warriors.” For this reason, the name SEEZ comes from the abbreviation of SEE the generation Z, which stands for making aware and people notice more about the youngest generation that is united by fluidity and acceptance. But what is important for this generation is freedom and creativity, whatever the medium - whether it’s music, fashion, or art.
CONTENT ART
FASHION
I would have two articles focus on art in which one would be a focus on street art, especially Shoreditch which is full of innovated graffities. The other one would be an interview with one young graffitist. This is to show how young creative push the boundaries of illegal graffitis to bring art.
In fashion, I would have an interview with a young fashion worker to talk about how fashion has been self-expression for gen Z. Plus two more articles about the latest trends in fashion like what is the trending colour and the musthave accessories.
MUSIC
CULTURE
On music, I would focus one article about electronic music which has been the most popular for gen Z. Plus an interview with a local DJ, so they could talk about their experience and how music has impacted their life.
When it comes to culture I would like to focus othe fluidity and acceptance of this generation by having an interview with the LGBTQ community to talk about sexual liberation and taking the toxic masculinity out.
