Contrasts take centre stage this season, such as styles created with ultra-fine metal profi-les contrasting with more retro oversize frames. The colours of the frames also play with contrast, making use of the brightest, most vivid tones and also more neutral, natural hues. Pastels, blues, browns, as well as translucent acetates are still in vogue and especially gold, pink, green, yellow and red. As for the shape, this has become more restrained, sharp and geometric. The Cat Eye trend is still popular but more subtle, while Oval Eye and geometric shapes have been slimmed down, making them more comfortable to wear. But all the different glasses in the collection have one thing in common: polarized lenses. This is definitely a minimalist collection with unisex lines creating eyewear that's both easy to wear and modern, inviting us to play, to imagine, to be mó, to be fashion.
MATERIALS In its quest for comfort and minimalism, mรณ has launched finer metal frames for those who prefer the comfort of lighter glasses. Following the latest trends in eyewear design, the glasses in this new collection feature materials such as acetate and injected cellulose propionate.
ACETATE Acetate is present in a large number of the models in the MO SUN RX and MO SUN GEEK collections, both for its versatility and for the variety it offers in terms of colours, tones, prints and double-layer details. It can also support thicker lenses, making it the ideal choice for people who need medium or high-strength prescription lenses. With acetate we can also experiment with different surface details and finishes. Acetate frames feature visual elements from the season's vintage look to attract younger consumers.
MIX & MATCH The mix of materials in the glasses' temples, bridge and double front bars add contrast and elegance to the most sober frames. Details are key, so the firm's design team has modernised those on the front bars and temples and updated the frames with delicate angles at the top.
METAL The metals used in this collection are now lighter to ensure greater comfort and reflect the minimalist style with clean, trim lines.
INJECTED CELLULOSE PROPIONATE (CP): Injected cellulose propionate has similar characteristics to acetate but is manufactured differently using the injection process. It's a totally hypoallergenic material with greater brightness, transparency and quality than other types of acetate. It's used in the MO SUN, MO SUN ONE, MO SUN ONE RX and MO SUN KIDS collections.

POLARI ED GLASSES: Mรณ cares about your eye health and that's why all newly designed mรณ sunglasses will have polarised lenses, ensuring both healthy eyes and designs that are fashionable and trendy. The glasses will have a distinctive sign indicating this feature: a letter "P" on the lens itself or the word "Polarized" written on one of the temples. Mรณ is polarised.
SHAPES Both narrow and wide styles are in this season, offering versatility and variety. As for the size of the frames, these range from oversize to minimal. All the designs in the collection have polarised lenses.
OVAL EYE This contemporary style provides an alternative to the classic round design, both in wide acetate frames and also superlight metal. One new feature of this collection is the "hybrid oval" shape that combines an oval lens with a geometric frame, creating a more youthful but sophisticated style.
SUBTLE CAT EYE Although the Cat Eye look has become less popular in recent seasons, the latest neat, impeccable shapes have updated this classic. The newest interpretations of the Cat Eye look feature a design reminiscent of a butterfly with its wings outstretched. Traditionally associated with a feminine look, this angular adaptation adapts to all tastes and styles, becoming a unisex model.
This season the basics have returned to a minimalist look that's been updated by more refined, unisex lines. The most modern designs have been inspired by earlier styles, giving rise to versatile, contemporary glasses.
RETRO MODERNITY In line with the season's trends and with its subtle retro style, classic eyewear designs have been reinvented with a modern vintage look inspired by the shapes of the 60s and 70s. Oversize frames have been used to create a stunning effect and both oversize square and oval eye shapes are essential to this collection. Thick temples and rims add a more original and retro touch to the frames. Oversize square glasses with retro touches are the stars of this trend, available in acetate, cellulose propionate and metal frames.
SHAPES Geometric, retro square, oversize and cat eye shapes (with sharper, finer proportions) have taken centre stage in the collection and are more unisex. Round designs have evolved: they're now more oval and combined with fine metal frames. One of the trends in shape is the predominance of curved lines. The new mรณ collection includes glasses with both contrast and harmony, each with their own identity.
GEOMETRIC FRAMES mรณ has renovated recognisable styles using geometric shapes and lightweight thin metal frames for a contemporary touch of comfort. Geometric shapes have become more important as constructivist features have come to the fore in eyewear. Metal hexagonal designs add novelty to the collections and provide a fashionable update for popular shapes. As an evolution of retro rounded frames, this dynamic, geometric shape has taken advantage of the trend by using fine metal designs that enhance nostalgic and also futuristic looks. These glasses are bold but also easy to combine as they benefit from comfortable, lightweight designs. Lightweight constructions and neutral tones enhance the futuristic look.
REFINED AVIATOR GLASSES The well-established aviator glasses evolve into increasingly minimalist shapes in round or more square, where superlight metal constructions create a sober feel. They favor all kinds of faces and have a timeless appeal. In addition, they offer a great opportunity for reinvention: details in frames, rods and bridges, as well as lenses, help to renew the looks in such a subtle yet marked way. The bridge becomes the protagonist and is modernized through more elongated or thicker details. Refined terminals and classic metal front bars add stylized modern details. The frames, in dora-two tones and combined with soft tinted lenses in extra-large proportions, appeal to renewed interest in vintage pieces. The mythical aviator silhouette also evolves with angular, more square and geometric edges.
ROUND ACADEMIC GLASSES With a nod to vintage styles and the popularity of elegant clothing, the essential shapes of round glasses are still very popular and are present for another season in different sizes. The frames have been made in metal and fine acetate with a simple, minimalist look. The novelty this season is provided by metal coatings on bridge and temples, updating this classic shape and elevating its status to the height of fashion. Matte metal also modernises this traditional style and is key to the men's collections. Tortoiseshell acetates form an integral part of this look. Lightweight gold frames are aimed at consumers looking for a more vintage style. Oversize shapes have also been updated with new proportions. Classic but nevertheless in line with today's trends, new colours, materials and finishes can be used without forsaking the timeless appeal of these glasses. .
COLOURS Natural nostalgia, the colours in this palette explore how comforting we find the familiar in this era of rapid change, taking their inspiration from the appeal of nature and nostalgia. Rather than strong and striking, these are authentic, intimate colours. In a world of alternative realities, these colours focus on authenticity. We explore nostalgia and seek solace in it (be it from the middle of the last century or the 1990s).
MONOCHROME LENSES Monochrome sunglasses are still one of the main trends and, in this collection, are available in green, grey, blue and brown. These complete the more classic looks while graded lenses add a more sophisticated touch to the outfit. Lenses matching the tone of the frames are also present in the collection, inspired by the 1970s.
TRANSLUCENT GLASSES Transparent options in different shades, as a unisex trend, and matte or gloss finishes are all the rage. Following street style, these almost imperceptible sunglasses are in tune with current trends. The frames combine transparent acetate with contemporary metals, as well as details on the bridge and temples. There are also "frosted" transparent glasses to create different levels of texture.
TORTOISESHELL AND CHOCOLATE BROWN We couldn't forget tortoiseshell and brown acetates with a sophisticated touch, in gloss or matte, and the importance of brown in this palette is clear to see. In fact, brown, in its different shades, has stolen the limelight from black. We also include a brown with a touch of gold that's perfect for sunglasses.
NATURAL, PRACTICAL NEUTRALS Natural finishes take pride of place within a palette of strongly military colours. Greens, khaki, greys, blacks and toasted tones work together in natural shades. The collection reflects the growing importance of neutral tones that can also work in fashion, promoted by luxury stores and fashion gurus. There are more browns and greens than in our previous palette and camel has been replaced by walnut, a more vibrant, intense colour.
COLOURS Bright colours to create drama: we're living at an incredibly intense time, which translates into more colour and dramatic combinations. Deeper autumnal colours: reds, oranges and greens are becoming deeper and more intense, while wine tones are coming to the fore.
SWEET PASTELS With the return to minimalism, there's more interest in sophisticated tones, mainly from the family of pastels, also inspired by the neutral tones of make-up. Millennial rose has turned beiges more pink. A unique and individual palette of pastel colours adds a touch of spontaneity whilst also creating a youthful feel. These sweet pastels have a luminous quality with the new lilac, lemon yellow, pink and pale tones making their way into eyewear fashion. They also provide a more modern, feminine air to different frames.
Browns and greens are stronger than in the previous collection. Walnut, a vibrant, intense tone, has replaced camel.
The new trend in colours is innovative, loaded with bright shades that invite you to experiment and develop your own creativity in fashion. The aim is to produce original, fun but harmonious combinations with different colours including gold, pink, green, yellow and coral tones.
SEA BLUES
WILD FRUITS
Sea blue shades range from navy blue to cerulean, providing a palette of natural blues that's versatile enough to work for both men and women. We've played with the ever-popular blue, becoming increasingly important as a fashionable colour and not just as a base. These tones are both fresh and luminous, as well as looking both natural and digital, in line with the unisex colours.
Berry tones such as burgundy, pink and purple play a leading role in the collection. Rich wine tones have turned into brick and raisin but reds, purples and burgundy are here to stay and, after years of popularity, have become a classic rather than a fashionable option. The novelty this season is provided by the combination of discordant colours within the family of berries and pinks. There are also shades of powdered pink in different versions and materials.
