Richard Nahas

Dr. Richard Nahas is an integrative medical doctor who focuses on innovative treatments for chronic pain and healing the brain. He founded his current practice, The Seekers Centre, in Ottawa in 2006. A frequent writer, researcher and publisher, Dr. Nahas works to promote an evidence-based approach to integrative medicine. He created an undergraduate curriculum for medical students at the University of Ottawa and has published many articles in medical journals and written several chapters for textbooks. Dr. Nahas also contributed to national guidelines in Canada and multinational clinical trials. Dr. Nahas earned a medical degree from the University of Toronto, graduating in 1998. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa and has served as Chair of the Medical Interest Group for Complementary and Integrative Medicine at the Ontario Medical Association.
