The family of Doris Honer would like to express our appreciation for the outpouring of support received for our mother during her illness and subsequent passing. A special thank you to the staff of the Kraemer Center, your kindness and care has meant so much; along with the third floor nursing staff, ER Staff, Dr. D. Marinier, Dr. K. Whitney and Bobbi. The weekly visits provided by Mary Ellen Boak, and Fr. Wesley were much appreciated by our mother. Her dear friends-it is too hard to name all; the daily/weekly phone conversations and visits helped keep her spirits up. The Regos, you were there for both of my parents and specifically mom this past 13 months, we sincerely thank you! We acknowledge the care and kindness provided by Becky, Palliative Care nurse from Home Health United and Our House Assisted Living. The funeral arrangements, service and luncheon were very special for mom and we thank Dan & Julie- Farber Funeral Home, Fr. Wesley, Mary Ellen Boak, Blossoms & Bouquet Floral, the St. Anthony Choir, parish members & friends that donated food to the luncheon. As her memorial card stated: “God saw she was getting old, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered, ‘Come with Me.’ With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. She was a special lady, a wonderful mom, a great friend and is sincerely missed.” The family of Doris: Bev, Luanne, Diane, Duane, Brian and all of our extended families
