We “Appreciated” all the calls, cards, food, flowers, memorials, hugs, and prayers. A very special thank you to Schmitt Woodland Hills for the wonderful care the last seven years. Our appreciation to Pratt’s Funeral Home for assisting the family. Craig Peach for the comforting words and lovely sermon and the beautiful music by Dewey Huston and Beth Hilleshiem. Thank You to the Yuba Homemakers for the delicious luncheon and the use of the Yuba Community Center. Memorials will go to the W. H. If you haven’t thought about making a donation to the food pantry in recent months, please do so now. The summer months actually see an increase in demand. A reason for that is that school is no longer in session so meals that may have been served at school now need to be prepared and served at home.

USE CAUTION DURING STORMS.
• We’ve put in place safeguards, but sometimes even the best preparations cannot prevent problems from occurring during severe weather. • A lightning strike can cause a brief moment when the power flickers off and back on as lines are re-energized. If lightning should strike a transformer or high winds cause a tree to fall on a power line, a local crew will work to restore service as quickly as possible.

• In the event of an outage, call us at 608-647-3844. If there is a downed power line that could cause harm, call 911, then the utility. Keep all people and pets away from the area.
