You rely on the land for your livelihood. You understand the special partnership formed when man and nature work in unison. If you choose to heat with wood, a Classic outdoor wood furnace improves your family’s living environment by eliminating the fire hazards, dirt, smoke and time-consuming chore of tending a traditional wood stove.

All Classic models adapt easily to new or existing heating systems. It’s important that your outdoor furnace and system be properly sized and installed. See your local dealer for more information. 13-1502 2012-ECL01c

The Richland Center Shopping News has been delighted to sponsor a hat and mitten drive for the past several years. Your generous donations are distributed via the Salvation Army to individuals in our area. The need within the community continues to be great. So, this year in an effort to expand our collections we’re also looking for individuals who knit or crochet. If you don’’t know how to knit or crochet you can still be involved by making a donation of yarn or money for us to purchase supplies. We will match up our volunteer crafters with the materials that are donated. The crafters will create warm, handmade winter accessories that are sure to be appreciated by many within the county. Please call Brenda at 647-2911 for more details on being a volunteer crafter. Donations of materials or cash can be made at the Shopping News, 272 N. Main Street, Richland Center. Please hurry! We need to start now to ensure we have a large collection for the winter season. Our deadline to deliver these many items to the Salvation Army is November 1st.
