NAME OF BUSINESS: Threads Screen Printing and Embroidery, LLC Year established: 2016 Tell us a little about your business: What do you do? We are a custom apparel shop that provides all your screen printing, embroidery, signage and promotional item needs. How many “neighbors” do you employ? Between here at Threads Screen Printing & Embroidery and our sister company Greeley Signs & Graphics we employ 7 “neighbors”. Recognizing you can do business anywhere…why are you here? We are born and raised here and want to see our community grow. One way to do that is to provide big opportunities right here – such as screen printing and embroidery. What’s the one thing you wish everyone knew about your business? Threads is family owned. But not just in the literal sense. We treat all of our team members and our customers like family! A family-like culture is “The team at Threads one of the key factors in our success. It is a culture of Screen Printing and Em broidery, LLC” hard work, integrity, and working as one unit here at Threads. What makes your business unique? We are unique in many ways! Not only do we do all of our designing and quoting in house, but we do all of our printing and embroidery in-house as well! But that’s not all! We have a store full of quality apparel at our location for people to buy right off the rack…at their convenience! Other than providing jobs and paying taxes what are some other ways you give back to the community? We donate to our local charities and sponsor many local events. Parting thoughts….please share anything else you’d like our readers to know: We specialize in giving your company, school or organization a brand new image! Or, giving your old image a face lift with our wonderful design service and products. What better way to get your name out there than through your everyday apparel?
Tune into WRCO this Wednesday during the news at noon and listen in as they interview the folks at Threads Screen Printing and Embroidery. Be sure to watch this page next week to learn more about Donut Dinner.
We supply lumber and also build lots of sheds.

A Place That Feels Like Home It was pouring rain the first day Maggie Wright came to Richland Center during the early 1970s. She remembers watching the water gush down while standing on the hotel’s porch. However, despite the bad weather, Maggie felt like she was home. Maggie Wright was born in Illinois and is the oldest of nine children. She loves to dance and is musically talented. Maggie is a wonderful singer and used to play a Suzuki QChord guitar. Before coming to Pine Valley Community Village, Maggie would sing and play twice a month in Pine Valley’s dining room. In June 2016, Maggie moved to Pine Valley Community Village and is enjoying herself there. She especially likes that Pine Valley has plenty of activities to keep busy. One of her favorite activities was making a quilt out of greeting cards and paper. Maggie also enjoys trivia, which often brings back fond memories.

Many thanks to all who have supported me during my recovery from the logging accident. A huge THANK YOU to The Highland EMS & Fire Department. What a remarkable response shown by all of you. Also, thanks so much to those who planned, worked and donated at the Benefit held at Honkers. Especially, Honker & Perry Wilkinson. And finally, what would I have done without Morgan & Dan and the personal care they gave me during my recovery. I am so lucky to live in a community that shows such kindness & generosity.
