Flamenco Intimo

Julia Chacón Flamenco Theatre will make a powerful splash every Friday and Saturday night this month. Audience members will be wowed by traditional flamenco dancing to beautiful, syncopated music performed by internationally recognized artists. Expect intricate costumes, soulful vocals to a Spanish guitar and fancy footwork. The Copper Queen

Turn up the girl power with Arizona Opera’s new film, The Copper Queen. Originally set to be a live performance but transformed into a movie premiering this month, the production is a romance thriller inspired by a real-life ghostly resident of The Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee, Arizona. Unicorn Philanthropy, founded by Dr. Bryan W. Gawley and Dr. Heather St. Peter of Gawley Plastic Surgery, will host its seventh annual gala to raise funds and awareness for Check for a Lump, a local nonprofit providing free beast health education, mammograms, testing and direct assistance to breast cancer patients with wigs, support and resources in Arizona. Attendees can expect a night of fun with giveaways, gifts, prizes, a silent auction, and exclusive offers. 2021 Western Wiffle Ball Classic

In 2019, a 14-year-old boy named Logan Rose organized the Big League Wiffle Ball Classic with his friends in his backyard. Thanks to YouTube and Instragram, the small event has turned into a large tournament and will return with 42 teams complete with people of all ages anticipated to compete.
