For our 2015/16 ski season we are returning to our muchloved chalet in Reberty Village. Due to exceptional bookings last ski season and demand for greater capacity, we are delighted to be opening another chalet in the nearby village of Le Bettaix on the other side of Les Menuires. From both chalets you will be able to enjoy the fantastic skiing that the Three Valleys resort has to offer. We are also excited to announce a brand new holiday this January, sailing around the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda aboard the 60ft yacht, ‘Ocean Venture’.

Chalet des Neiges, Reberty 02
This quintessential alpine chalet is on the doorstep of the largest ski resort in the world – the Three Valleys. Situated in the charming Reberty Village at an altitude of 2,000m, you can rely on snow-sure slopes all season. The chalet is superbly placed on a wide blue piste, providing easy access to numerous lifts for quick access to the whole area. In addition, the ESF ski school is just 100m from the boot room door, making lessons easily accessible for beginners. Both the snug lounge and atmospheric dining room have large open fireplaces so you can keep cosy while enjoying the stunning, south-facing views across the snow-covered mountains. With indoor and outdoor hot tubs as well as two saunas, you can enjoy unwinding after a day on the slopes before a time of ministry each evening. We have options of twin or four-bed family rooms, two of which enjoy their own jacuzzi bath to help you relax. All of our chalet bedrooms are ensuite and serviced daily by our friendly staff team.

Chalet Elise, Le Bettaix Our new chalet is positioned alongside the picturesque ‘Doron de Belleville’ river, in the typical French village of Le Bettaix, a five-minute drive from Les Menuires. Based just 200m from a fast new ski lift taking you straight into the heart of the Three Valleys, this chalet will be a great base from which you can explore the mountains. You can also enjoy some lovely walks surrounded by the beautiful snowy scenery. Le Bettaix is built in a similar style to our Reberty chalet, with options of twin and four-bed family rooms. In addition to the dining area, this chalet has two lounges, one of which has a cinema screen for movie nights and table football, perfect for a bit of fun competition off the slopes! A large south-west facing balcony stretches the width of the chalet looking out onto the mountain landscape. Here you can relax in one of our two hot tubs or saunas with a glass of vin chaud and enjoy the pink and orange swirling sunset behind the La Masse peak.

Excellent food is a vital part of any alpine holiday, and we carefully plan this part of your stay. Our continental or cooked breakfast with fresh patisseries and baguettes will provide you with a nourishing start to your day whether out on the slopes or relaxing in the resort. For just 7€, our staff can prepare a delicious packed lunch to take with you when you set out for the day. As you return home in the afternoon, you will be welcomed by the aroma of our ever-popular home-made cakes and biscuits and a hot drink to warm you up. Before dinner share stories from your day with a glass of bubbly and some appetizing canapés. Then unwind and enjoy fellowship as our team serves you a full three-course dinner, with French wines selected to go with the day’s menu. Finally, on the Friday afternoon as you complete your last run, our teams from both Reberty and Le Bettaix will meet you with champagne and snacks on the slope to finish the holiday on a high.
Ministry Richmond Holidays’ Christian ethos remains central to who we are and what we stand for. Both resort and office teams start every day with prayer and thanksgiving. We make every effort with our ministry programme to ensure that you experience great worship and Bible-led teaching, as well as pastoral support during your time away.
Children Throughout the season we can provide your children with an earlier dinner and watch a film with them while you enjoy your own meal. For those aged 4-12, old enough to ski but lacking the stamina to keep going all day, we offer a child supervision service. Your children are taken to and from ski school, given lunch and entertained until 14:00. This service is payable in resort at 25€ per day or 110€ for 5 days. During school holidays, children aged 6-12 can enjoy their own time of ministry, led by our enthusiastic team. encouraging them to grow in their faith and learn more about Jesus and the Bible.

The Three Valleys 06
With 200 ski lifts opening up over 600km of piste, the Three Valleys is the largest ski area in the world. This vast range makes our chalets the perfect place for every taste and ability. Both of our chalets are situated in the Les Menuires valley in the heart of this huge area, encompassing the resorts of Val Thorens, Meribel and Courchevel.
Non-skiers’ Activities Whether it’s a moment reflecting on the sunny balcony, reading by the roaring fire or relaxing in the bubbling hot tub, our chalets have plenty of space where you can kick back and relax this winter. Take the time for yourself, chat with friends over a slice of our home-made cake or just enjoy stunning views. There are some tantalising places for lunch close-by, with L’Igloo in Reberty serving some of the best pizza in the Three Valleys and the renowned three-star Michelin restaurant, La Bouitte, in St Martin, a pleasant walk from our chalet in Le Bettaix. Nearby Les Menuires is highly accessible by a free bus ride or a 30-minute walk from either chalet. This town boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a family-friendly sports centre with a large pool and spa. Alternatively, if you have a taste for more adventure, there is snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and opportunities to explore the pretty village of Saint-Martin or the lively town of Val Thorens.
Ski Extras Lift Passes Avoid queues in resort and add a Three Valley lift passes to your booking before departure, so that it will be waiting for you on your arrival. There are reduced rates available for children under 12, seniors from 65 and families.
Equipment Hire Ski and snowboard hire can be organised through Richmond. With a range of four levels we can ensure you have the right kit for you and can advise if needed. We take your measurements in advance to ensure less time in the ski shop and more time enjoying your holiday.
Lessons Richmond can organise 6-day group lessons at your required level with the ESF ski school starting from age 3. We recommend you book early, especially in high-season weeks, to avoid disappointment. All ski extras must be added onto bookings a minimum of three weeks before departure. Getting There 08
Eurostar Train* Board the train at Ashford or St Pancras then travel directly to Moutiers. Travel overnight for eight full days’ skiing, or catch the daytime service for a great view of the French countryside. The Richmond transfer from Moutiers is £45 return per person and includes a complimentary breakfast for early morning arrivals.
Flights* Richmond return transfers from Chambery Airport are £70 per person. The latest arrival we can meet is the 17:55 from Gatwick and the earliest departure is the 10:15 flight to Edinburgh. If your flight is delayed or redirected we will endeavour to provide transfers but this may involve a delay or alternative transport being provided by the airline. If you require transfers please check with Richmond to confirm times before making your travel arrangements. * These details are correct at time of print.
Self-drive Once in France it’s a nine-hour drive to our chalets, which is approximately 600 miles. There is free parking in both Reberty Village and Le Bettaix, or in nearby Les Menuires. Antigua Yachting 10
This January join ‘Ocean Venture’ a 60ft skippered yacht and enjoy the spectacular scenery and marine life as you cruise around the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda. Breakfast and lunch is provided onboard using fruit and vegetables from the island, and fresh fish caught while you sail. Following a time of ministry the group will head to a local restaurant each night for dinner and drinks. During the 10-day trip there is plenty of time to learn the ropes, swim and explore the reefs, lagoons and beaches around the islands. Enjoy relaxing with a rum punch in a tropical paradise with new friends.
