Members of John F. Kennedy High School’s Student Gover nment Association are continuing to support t h e i r c o m m u n i t y wh i l e learning from home during the coronavirus pandemic. Over the past few weeks, student leaders have mobilized classmates, neighbors a n d Ke n n e dy a l u m n i t o give back to those working through the crisis.
“Nor mally, the Student Government is working on several school-wide and community activities at a time,” SGA President Danny Iskols wrote in an email to the Herald Life, “so it only felt natural to continue to work and plan, even while stuck at home.” T he SGA developed three initiatives to help pitch in during the pand e m i c. teachers and staff for their hard work.
