early learning center Infants through Pre-K, Before/after school mission It is the mission of the Early Learning Center to glorify God by providing quality, Christ-centered early childhood education dedicated to children’s spiritual, social-emotional, physical and cognitive development.

philosophy Every child deserves the heritage of knowledge of God and His Son, and without it, education is not complete. The ELC partners with families to provide a high quality program designed to promote the spiritual, physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of each child. Each child is a unique being, deserving of love, respect, care and a healthy educational experience. The Early Learning Center provides part-time and full-time educational programs and care for infants through prekindergarten from 6:30am – 6:00pm. It also offers summer camps and before and after school programs for children up to age 12. Pre-kindergarten students receive art and music instruction through specialized faculty and are also paired with elementary students through our “Reading Buddy Program.” Accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, we are committed to excellence. Continuous quality improvement is our guiding principle and to illustrate our commitment we have attained a Keystone STAR 3 rating. Keystone STARS is a

voluntary quality initiative rating system that offers families a way to evaluate the quality of childcare programs. The ELC staff has surpassed the requirements necessary to achieve one of the highest levels of early learning quality standards in the STARS program. As we look to the future, we stand firm in our mission to partner with families to shape children for the world and for Christ.

Elementary School Grades K-4 The elementary faculty strives to develop the whole child, building not only their academic foundations but shaping their social and emotional development as well. A carefully balanced day of Biblically-integrated academic subjects combined with an introduction to special programs such as art, music, Spanish, computer, library, and physical education ensures that each student is well prepared to succeed in the intermediate school.

Intermediate School Grades 5-6 Intermediate School initiates a gradual transition to middle school life. Beginning in grade 5, students change classes for major subjects and are instructed by a team of teachers who collaborate to develop an instructional program that meets students’ needs. Students have the opportunity to participate in after school sports, secondary chapels, and clubs. Our goal is for students to thrive during the often difficult transition from elementary school to middle school.

Middle School grades 7-8 Lititz Christian School offers coursework and personal preparation through careful guidance so students are ready to take on the rigors of the high school years. Extracurriculars, such as musicals, chess, and intramural sports give these inquisitive and active learners opportunities to explore their interests. These attributes of Lititz Christian School help to foster a family community that provides a safe learning environment where middle school students can succeed and prepare for high school.

High School grades 9-12 The academic goal of Lititz Christian is to prepare each student for their future. Students can choose Standard, Honors, or Advanced Placement classes to match their particular academic goals and abilities. Lititz Christian offers an academic program that concentrates on depth rather than breadth of subject matter. To complement the curriculum, we also offer a range of elective courses that focus on specific knowledge to round out the academic profile of each student. The rigor of the high school curriculum is matched by the school’s commitment to small class sizes along with a homeroom and advisory program that helps students develop personal relationships guiding them throughout high school and toward their future goals and callings.

International Students Since 2000, more than 100 international students from all over the world have become part of the Lititz Christian community and have had a tremendous impact on our families, students and faculty. Lititz Christian School students have been inspired to pursue higher education in fields such as cultural studies, foreign language, international business and humanities. Our prayer is that International students will continue to seek Lititz Christian School to strengthen their academic foundations as well as grow in their spiritual development in Christ.
