Please consider these two vector graphics. They can be used individually or in tandem as simple, contextually relevant crosswalk options. The heel graphic can be painted in one or two colors and requires no tight paint registration. The traffic calming, 2D optical illusion example can be accomplished with two colors (third color is asphalt) and tight paint registration can be achieved with stencil design. A third design component to potentially add to either of these is a simple line or two and arrow of wayfinding information. Example: Add the message “University Square / Granville Towers - 1 Block Ahead when stepping onto Rosemary St. heading southeast at the Church St intersection.
University Square 1 Block Ahead
UNC TARHEELS CONTEXT
TRAFFIC CALMING
These examples can be used as one or two colors, with or without wayfinding text. The artwork deliverables can easily be set up to your exact dimensional specifications for a painting crew in whatever format is desired.
