Ricoh is World’s Most Ethical Company, for the sixth year running Ricoh has been recognised as a 2015 World’s Most Ethical Company®, a recognition meant to honour those organisations that have had a material impact on the way business is conducted, by fostering a culture of ethics and transparency at every level of the company. Ricoh has been awarded this recognition for the sixth consecutive year, underscoring our commitment to leading ethical business standards and practices. In accordance with the principles of The Ricoh Way, the company believes that earning trust as a global citizen depends on meeting the expectations of diverse stakeholders such as customers, employees, suppliers, regulators and investors. In fact, we believe there is a correlation between ethical business practice and improved company performance. Ethics is a means to further define their industry leadership and it involves the collective action of the entire workforce. The World’s Most Ethical Company assessment is instituted by the Ethisphere Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. It is based upon the Ethisphere Institute’s Ethics Quotient™ (EQ) framework developed over years of research to provide a means to assess an organisation’s performance in an objective, consistent and standardised way. Scores are generated in five key categories: ethics and compliance program (35%), corporate citizenship and responsibility (20%), culture of ethics (20%), governance (15%) and leadership, innovation and reputation (10%).
