RICS 150
- the first 6 months January 2018 – June 2018
RICS 150 RICS celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2018. Founded in London on 15 June 1868, RICS is today a leading global professional body with over 125,000 accredited professionals served by a network of offices around the world. Our 150th year is an important milestone. It is of course a time to celebrate RICS’ historic past and the highly skilled practitioners who make up the surveying profession. It is also a unique opportunity to look to the future. That’s why in 2018, RICS will not only celebrate past achievements but will work to promote pride in the profession, inclusion and diversity, as well as to inspire the next generation. A wide-ranging programme of activities has been running throughout the year. These are celebrating the depth and breadth of the surveying profession, highlighting its value to society and recognising its significant contribution to the global economy.

This film charts the history of the profession and is set in a world of changing demographics, urbanisation, and the challenges of sustainability and geo-politics. At its core, the film re-enforces the trust in highly trained RICS professional specialists, in times of complex change and uncertainty. The film focuses on individuals - their professionalism, skills, creativity, agility and values.
