2016/2017 WINTER LOOKBOOK NO SHORTCUTS
SCOT T WINTERSPORTS Like the modest champion sitting in the corner listening as others spit their egos all over each other, SCOTT quietly lets its achievements, its victories, its skills speak for themselves. We don’t make products for those who yearn to be noticed. We make them for those who are going to do what they do whether there’s anyone watching or not. If you’re like us, you say what you say, do what you do, ski where you ski because you love it. You do it the right way. You do it for the right reasons. 2

1958 THE SKI POLE REVOLUTION It all starts with one man’s vision of a better ski pole. Ed Scott’s invention of the first tapered aluminum ski pole immediately replaces the sport’s existing use ofbamboo and steel, catapulting SCOTT Sports to aproduct leader in the skiing market.

2004 SCOTT WINS EUROPEAN SKI AWARD WITH THE BIOMEX ® HELMET Created in cooperation with Biomex ® Protection, this helmet was a big step forward for head safety in wintersports. The Biomex featured a Dual Band Roll Cage (rectangular shape), which reduced the swing weight and made it more comfortable to wear.
2013 LCG GOGGLES ADAPT YOUR VISION Plenty of companies have developped goggles with technology alowing for lens swapping, but SCOTT Sports was the first to create a serious product benefit with a system that enabled quick changing with just one hand and no contact with the lens face.

WORLD’S LIGHTEST SKI BOOT
WINTER APPAREL & SKIS ARRIVE
When SCOTT Sports decided that a boot could be lighter, stiffer and more comfortable all at once, the design and testing process went hundreds of rounds of trial and error, tinkering and tweaking. All in an effort to create a ski boot that lived up to athletes’ expectactions.
SCOTT Sports introduces a technical wintersport apparel line and begins the production of skis.
7
2014 PIONEER WITH LIGHT ALPRIDE AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY By exclusively introducing Alpride Airbag technology, SCOTT offers one of the lightest inflator systems on the market, made with premium CNC Aluminium and weighing only 1240g (including the cartridges).
2015 INTRODUCING GORE-TEX ® SKI BOOTS, THE NEXT GENERATION. When it comes to boots, we believe in comfort and a superior fit that never compromises performance. SCOTT proudly introduces one of the first ski boot liner to use GORE-TEX ® technology, keeping feet dry in all conditions.

STEFAN HÄUSL (AUT): Hearing is one of the most important senses used when skiing. Often times when wearing a helmet, it is difficult to know from where a particular sound is coming from. This can affect your balance, communication with others and can lead to uncertainty- things you don’t want when in the mountains. With SCOTT’s 360° sound it is much easier to analyze where the sound is coming from, giving you much more confidence out in the mountain.
