SCOTT FIT SYSTEM The patent pending SCOTT FIT SYSTEM is a mechanical adjustment located at the bottom of each side of the goggle allowing you to choose between four positions to get a customized face and nose fit. OVER THE GLASSES (OTG) OTG Goggles offer protection from the elements and an optimized fit for people requiring prescription glasses.

BIG HYPOALLERGENIC FACE FOAM WITH WINDPROOF MEMBRANE This extra soft face foam incorporates a PU layer between the foams to deliver the highest level of protection against wind and cold. Its oversized face foam ensures a comfortable fit and precise seal around the face.

HELMET COMPATIBILITY Scott goggles are engineered to engage flawlessly with a variety of helmets. REVOLUTIONARY AIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RAM) RAM is a patented frame ventilation system that directs airflow within the goggle by using a clean and controlled top-to-bottom pattern, eliminating “swirling air” and fogging. NO-SLIP SILICONE STRAP An adhered silicone strip on the inside of the goggle strap ensures the goggles stay right where they should on a helmet.

SCOTT OPTIVIEW lenses are manufactured in Europe and adhere to the strictest testing standards. Scott’s proprietary injection molding process and hard coat treatment guarantees that every OptiView lens is optically correct.

Located on the outside of the goggle frame, the patent pending Scott Fit System creates a custom face and nose fit.

RAM VENTING

SCOTT TRUVIEW lenses are lightweight and block 100% of harmful UV rays. TruView lenses pass Scott’s strict testing procedures delivering high-quality, performance lenses in select SCOTT goggles. 100% UV PROTECTION All Scott lenses are optically engineered to screen out 100% of harmful UVA/UVB rays.

Revolutionary Air Management (RAM) is a patented frame ventilation system that directs airflow within the goggle by using a clean and controlled top-to-bottom pattern, eliminating “swirling air” and fogging.

NO FOG™ ANTI-FOG LENS TREATMENT Scott lenses undergo a permanent No Fog™ treatment process to prevent condensation and fogging. Neck injuries can be of the most serious upper body injuries. The SCOTT NECK BRACE was engineered in collaboration with Leatt®, the market leader and pioneer of the “helmet for your neck”. It functions in conjunction with your helmet and is designed to help protect your neck from extreme movements and overall neck loading in the event of an accident. The SCOTT NECK BRACE is engineered with Leatt®’s proven Alternative Load Path Technology™ (ALPT™) and features seamless integration of function, movement and looks.

The Scott Neck Brace helps protect against the following main scenarios:

HYPEREXTENSION over-bending of the head in rearward direction.

LATERAL HYPERFLEXION over-bending of the head to one side.

HYPEREXTENSION Extreme bending of the head in a rearward direction. HYPERFLEXION Extreme bending of the head in a forward direction. LATERAL HYPERFLEXION Extreme bending of the head to one side. POSTERIOR HYPERTRANSLATION Movement of the head relative to the neck, at ninety degrees to the neck. COUPLED AXIAL LOADING Helps prevent axial loading only when the axial forces act in combination with other mechanisms. As an example, this typically occurs when your head is forced downward and forward (Hyperflexion) or downward and backward (Hyperextension).

TECHNOLOGIE

All Scott Braces help protect riders from 5 types of head/neck impacts by employing Alternative Load Path Technology™. This innovation helps disperse the energy, typically transferred to the neck, resulting from an impact to the head* and assists in the transferring of forces away from the vulnerable neck structures to less vulnerable areas of the body and is pivotal in the design of all Scott neck Braces. In a typical face-plant type accident without a Scott Neck Brace, the force of the impact is transferred from the ground to the helmet, through the helmet to the scull and scull base where it is then transferred through the neck to the back (thoracic spine). With the Scott-Brace fitted, the force will instead transfer from the ground to the helmet, through the helmet onto the Scott Neck Brace once contact is made, some of the force will therefore be transferred to the brace and dispersed to the less vulnerable parts of the torso. If the impact is significant enough, the brace is designed to fail in crumple zones (similar to those seen in cars), thereby helping to absorb some of the energy of the impact.
