MASTER LOGO CLEAR SPACE Clear space around the Scott Master Logo amplifies its significance, maintains its visual integrity, and enhances its overall impact. It is also critical to preserving the legal integrity of the mark. To this end, it is imperative to prevent any non-logo elements from interfering with or appearing as integrated parts of the official logo. In all applications, please surround the Scott Master Logo with at least the minimum amount of clear space defined by the diagram below. Note that the clear space is defined by the outer boarder of the red lines (A). For a spacing guide use the outer right edge and the inside left edge of the of the Scott Logo shown in grey below. As the logo is scaled up or down, the value (A), the clear space around the logo, increases or decreases proportionally. Please maintain the space between the Scott Logo and Word Mark (B). This space defined by rotating the “T at the end of the Word Mark to give you a spacing guide for (B).

MASTER LOGO - “® & ™” Reduced Scale When using the Scott Master Logos at reduced scales the size of the “® and ™” marks will need to be increased. Please use best judgement when increasing the size of the “® and ™” marks. The “® and ™” marks must be at a size that they are clear and readable but they must never over power the clarity of the Scott Master Logos. SCOTT LOGO - OUTLINED - Special use only! The Scott Logo can be outlined only in special cases. These cases are when the graphic surrounding the Logo may touch the Logo or interfere with the Logo’s Clear Space. Another case is when the Logo may need an outline to help it stand out and be readable on a visually distracting background. When using an outline on the Logo the inside fill color of the Logo (A) must match the color of the outline. Please use best judgment at all times when using Outlined Scott Logos. Below is an example of an outline properly applied to the Scott Logo. The outline protects the Logo from the lines of the graphic interfering with the Logo.

SCOTT LOGO - OUTLINED BOLD Use either the Bold Weighted Outlined Logo or the Thin Weighted Outlined Logo that best suits your graphic needs. The Scott Logo and its Outline can be implemented in any color. When using a bold outline on the Master Horizontal Logo, the inside fill color of the Logo must match the color of the Outline and be solid. This is due to the smaller scale of the Scott Logo versus Word Mark. At this smaller scale the negative space within the Scott Logo will look incorrect. Please use best judgment at all times when using Outlined Scott Logos.
