In the mood for a more relaxed pace? Our county has over 20,000 acres of farms, forests and parklands to explore. Wander through the towns of Princeton, Lambertville and nearby New Hope, P.A., to discover unique cafes, shops, and restaurants. Also, Mercer County is at the epicenter of the American Revolution with an array of historical sites to visit.
Root for one of 17 professional sports franchises that make their home in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Lawrenceville is smack in the middle of two of the most historic and happening cities in the country — Philadelphia and New York City. Explore world-renowned museums and city attractions, catch a show on Broadway, enjoy diverse restaurants and stroll the streets.

My favorite part about Rider is the community. Not just in my program, but the University as a whole. With a small student population, I have really gotten to get involved in many ways.

» For New Jerseyans, heading “down the shore” means enjoying our beaches, boardwalks, coastal nature areas and other fun activities.
» We have over 500 diners and are often referred to as the “Diner Capital of the World.”
» Our famous foods include bagels, corn, tomatoes, cheesesteaks, pizza and pork roll — or is it Taylor ham?
