SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE A sustainable environment is a necessity if we won’t move ahead sustainably it will be very difficult to sustain the growth, population in a healthy manner and to provide the same amenities quality of life to our future generation. As an Architect it is our responsibility designing and constructing in such a way to limit environmental impact, this can be done simply by taking consideration of orientation, shading, natural ventilation, material selection using material that can easily be reused, recycled, and disposed of causing less pollution.
Sustainable architecture approach is deeply rooted, over the last 30 years the word sustainability began to lose its weight in the traditional way of construction and designing we use to have very less waste and we don’t require artificial lighting and cooling in a building, but in the way of developing countries, we have lost it in a way of it.
SMART CITIES The main objective of smart cities is to provide infrastructure adequate water supply, electricity, sanitation facilities, public transport, IT connectivity, efficient healthy environment, etc. and to provide good quality of life with a clean and sustainable environment, reduce conjunction, air pollution and depletion of resources preserving open areas and developing them into more parks, playground, recreational spaces to enhance the quality of life.
HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION Protecting the built heritage and conserving the local traditional and cultural values of communities for future generations. Heritage conservation is a process through which the material, historical, and design integrity of heritage building is prolonged through planned interventions using similar material, Preservation, Restoration, etc.
DESIGN TECHNOLOGY Adoption of design technology in architectural practice has allowed creativity to be more easily achieved and it helps the client to easily understand the design, and catch your vision when you have true-to-life visuals at your aid. Using technology such as virtual reality or 3D printing can help clients identify areas they'd like to change before construction starts.
BIOMIMICRY IN ARCHITECTURE Nature has a lot to teach us, particularly when it comes to architecture, so when it comes to buildings our best teacher is often the natural environment. Nature is one of the best examples of something that is always changing. Biomimicry is an inspiration from nature to solve human problems through the study of natural designs, systems, and processes. Through this, we can learn about systems, materials, structure, and how nature itself-sustaining Nature has already solved many of mechanical and structural problems without generating any wastage. This is the basic idea of combing biology and engineering to help humanity treat nature better and more harmoniously, so anyone from the largest enterprise to a single individual can create better products, and work in harmony with nature for the betterment of our future. Biomimicry is a new science that studies nature's models and then mimics these forms, processes, systems, and strategies to solve human problems.
