The 2016 C.F.D. Moule Memorial Lecture Ridley Hall is pleased to announce that the 2016 Moule Lecture will be on Wednesday 8th June at Lady Mitchell Hall on the University’s Sidgwick Site (across the street from Ridley Hall – please see map overleaf). Starting at 2.15pm, the lecture will be given by a long-time friend of Ridley, the Most Revd Dr Mouneer Anis, and is entitled “My Experience of Christian and Muslim Relations in Egypt”. Bishop Mouneer began his career as a Doctor of Medicine, receiving his degree from Cairo University, before being ordained in 1999 and serving at All Saints Cathedral, Cairo. He is the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Egypt, and Presiding Bishop of Jerusalem and the Middle East, as well as acting as chairman of the Global South Primates Steering Committee. As in previous years, following the lecture there will be a brief update on the latest news from Ridley, before we relocate to the College for tea, cakes and the chance to enjoy the summer weather in the courtyard. We arrange the Moule lecture as part of our desire to be a blessing to our friends, supporters and the city of Cambridge and so we are delighted The Most Revd Dr Mouneer Anis that this year we are able to continue our tradition of not charging for attendance. Whilst there is no entrance fee, if you are in a position to make a donation, no matter how small or large, we would be very grateful as it will help us to continue to keep this event free of charge for future years. Donations can be made by cheque (payable to ‘Ridley Hall’), or on our JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/ridleyhall. If you would like to attend the Moule Lecture, please return the attached reply form in the pre-paid envelope to the Development Office at Ridley by Monday 9th May. Alternatively you may book your place online at www.ridley.cam.ac.uk.

We are asking for a £5 per person contribution from those who join us for lunch; please make your cheque payable to ‘Ridley Hall’, write ‘Lunch’ on the reverse and send it to the College alongside your reply form. Places for lunch are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment! There will be gathering points by the relevant staircases, as well as staircase photographs. If you are interested in taking part in this, please note your former staircase on your reply form. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend an invitation to children, and there is no parking available in the college grounds apart from a few spaces for those persons with mobility needs. Cars may be left at one of the Park and Rides around the city. Please indicate if you need a disabled parking space in the college on your reply form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email Robert Smith (01223 746586 or rers2@cam.ac.uk). Details can also be found at:
