Executive Summary FUNDRAISING IS ESSENTIAL TO THE ON-GOING OPERATION OF ALLEGHANY WELLNESS CENTER, AS IT IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. SPONSORS ARE SOUGHT FOR VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT EACH YEAR. ONE OF OUR BIGGEST EVENTS IS THE TOUR DE MOUNTAINS. WE ARE SEEKING SPONSORS FOR THE UPCOMING TOUR DE MOUNTAINS. THERE ARE A VARIETY OF BENEFITS TO BEING A SPONSOR INCLUDING MENU OPTIONS. WE WANT TO RETURN THE FAVOR AND SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS DURING THE ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN. THE TOUR DE MOUNTAIN Come see all the beautiful scenery our state has to offer The Tour de Mountain is a bike ride held in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Different routes are available to accomodate riders of all skill levels. Complimentary meals are provided to riders. Riders are also entered into drawings for prizes.

HOW MUCH Advance registration through May 15 is $40 for all routes. After May 15, registration is $45.

GOALS OF THE EVENT Increase brand awareness as evidenced by having a click through rate of at least 20% for each sponsor

Increase brand awareness by reaching at least 100 views per post

Increase brand engagement by reaching an average engagement rate of at least 40% on social media To receive positive feedback as evidenced by at least 60% of participants pledging to return to visit the county

Support the Community

Alleghany county has many wonderful things to offer to visitors and residents in the community. Tour de Mountains is a great opportunity for participants of the event to visit local business prior to and after event.

The participants who are not local will often travel to the area the night prior to the event and stay the night .

Participants will be provided with information for places to visit, eat, and shop during their stay in Alleghany County and they will be encouraged to support local businesses.

Sponsorship Rights SITE RIGHTS FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT

1.) BOOTH FOR PRODUCT PLACEMENT AND PROMOTION Each sponsor will be given adequate space to set up a booth to promote products to visitors of the event.

2.) NAME OR LOGO DISPLAY ON SOCIAL ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND SIGNS PROMOTING THE EVENT Each sponsors name and/or logo will be displayed on all digital promotional material for the event

3.) NAME OR LOGO DISPLAY ON T-SHIRTS PROVIDED TO PARTICIPANTSÂ Each sponsors name and/or logo will appear on the promotional t-shirts for the event that are given to participants

4.) OPPORTUNITY TO DISTRIBUTE PRIZES THAT THE SPONSOR DONATED Sponsor are given the opportunity to donate prizes for the drawings and to distribute those prizes to the winners

5.) MERCHANDISING RIGHTS Sponsors who choose to be an upper level sponsor will get category exclusivity

Options to suite your needs WE APPRECIATE YOUR SPONSORSHIP Sponsors are the backbone of the Tour de Mountains and their contributions not only support the event, but also support the ongoing operation of Alleghany Wellness Center. Alleghany Wellness Center is the only fitness center in the county and it provides something for all ages to help each person in the community to be healthy. Alleghany Wellness Center is a non-profit facility and it relies fundraising events such as Tour de Mountains to keep the doors open to the community. The Alleghany Wellness Center and Tour de Mountains event coordinators appreciate everything sponsors contribute to the event and the cause. We would like for you to join us in interacting with the community at the event and following the event for a Spaghetti meal.

IN KIND DONATIONS Some people prefer to donate items such as gift certificates to be given as a prizes to participants, food and beverages for the day of the event, or t-shirts to be printed for the event. Some people also donate a service such as printing the signs or t-shirts.Â

2019 Goal = $4200 The sponsorship fee will cover all costs to host the event that are not covered by donations and volunteer efforts. The funds raised by the event will support operation of the Alleghany Wellness Center. The event host hopes to increase sponsor participation by 20% from the previous event. Help us reach our goals and better serve the community.

Post Reach - How many people have seen your brand on social media posts. Reach of a post/total followers x 100 Attendee Demographics Mindshare - Do participants recognize your brand? Will they purchase your product or recommend them?

Engagement

Average engagement rate - number of likes, shares, comments, etc of posts including your brand total likes, comments, shares/Total followers x 100 Number of promotional products distributed at the event.

Conversion Metrics click through rate - how many people clicked on a link to your webpage from the promoters social media posts. clicks/Impressions x 100

Brand Sentiment survey following the event at least 60% of participants pledge to visit Alleghany County again.

The salesperson will identify a couple additional incentives to you sponsoring this event. you will gain new customers to their local business, especially seasonal residents who enjoy exploring towns in the mountain region while at their summer home

Closing the sell

For advertising purposes, sponsorship deals must be finalized 8 weeks prior to the event. Media promotion events will begin and carry through the end of the event.

1 MONTH AFTER EVENT Follow up

One month following the event, I will provide ROI metrics following the event and discuss feedback for future events.
