Welcome to the Term 2 Newsletter If I had to sum up this term in one word, the word I would use would be ‘Eventful’ Like every term, it has been a busy one, one that has been very full of events,fromcommunitytosportstoperforming arts to academics. We have certainly filled our Term2calendartothemax!
We are still new to the Sports scene in Abu Dhabibutweareofftoaflyingstartwithteams entered in many events. We are so proud to be winnersoftheUnder9sADEKCup!Howwellour teamsaredoingisatestamentto
thehardworkourPEDepartmentputsintoprovidinghigh-qualitysportsopportunities toourlearners.
Across the school, the corridors have been alive with exhibitions and showcases of learning In the PYP and MYP, there have been Islamic presentations, recycling presentations,Expos,careerdays,andfilmpremieres Attimesithasfeltlikewehave hadmoreparentsoncampusthanstudents!
InternationalDaywasthehighlightoftheKCCCalendar Food,dancing,singing,face painting,henna,andphotography;younameit,wehadit!Itwassuchanhonourand a privilege to take part It was a true celebration and reflection of our international community.
This term has seen our school grow and flourish We welcomed our littlest learners intoschoolintheMinisandsharedourplanstogrowourSecondarywiththeopening of the DP It is incredible to be able to offer the KCC Experience to such a spread of ages!
