Semester VII Academic Project

The Virasa Restaurant design is a fusion of tradition and modernity, offering a dining experience that reflects cultural richness, aesthetic appeal, and functional efficiency. Rooted in vernacular architecture, the design evokes warmth and nostalgia while meeting the needs of contemporary dining spaces. The concept emphasizes the use of locally sourced materials, handcrafted details, and regional craftsmanship, fostering sustainability and supporting local artisans.
The restaurant’s layout promotes seamless movement and spatial harmony, ensuring smooth circulation between the dining areas, kitchen, lounge, and outdoor spaces. The design balances privacy and openness, with dedicated zones for intimate dining and communal experiences. Natural elements like wood, stone, and terracotta, combined with earthy color tones, create a rustic yet inviting ambiance. Lighting, both natural and ambient, enhances the mood, while sustainable design strategies like passive cooling contribute to an eco-friendly environment. Softwares Used:

02 VASARA APARTMENTS
High-rise Luxury Residential Project
Semester VI Academic Project
Location - Hyderabad
The 6th-semester design project “Vasara” envisions a high-rise luxury housing development designed for a population density of no more than 800. The concept emphasizes creating comfortable living spaces with spacious balconies and recreational areas for each unit, fostering relaxation and interaction. Surrounding every apartment are pocket parks, bringing greenery into the urban setting and enhancing the living experience.
A key aspect of the design is the strategic building orientation to ensure optimal natural lighting for all units throughout the day, creating bright and energy-efficient spaces. The integration of nature within the design not only elevates the aesthetic appeal but also promotes mental and physical well-being for residents. By blending luxury with sustainability, “Vasara” strikes a balance between individual privacy and community well-being, redefining modern urban living standards. Softwares Used:

An offset of 12m is taken from site boundary that includes peripheral road and parallel street parking for vitors.

Mass uplifted for 16 floors is divided into three sections and two lane roads are layed further per need.
Each section is further divided to area that can be provided for each apartment seperately and oriented in EW axis enough to recieve day-lighting from all sides.

After levels of each block is calculated clubhouse is placed in a place hidden from main entrance but at equal distance from all the apartments. Finally ,pocket parks are planned within space created by the mass.

Pharmaceutical University Campus Design
Semester X Thesis Project
Location - Hyderabad
This thesis project is a part of the phase 1 stage of Pharma University. The proposed Pharma University in Hyderabad, Telangana, emerges as a pivotal initiative amidst the state’s burgeoning pharmaceutical landscape. This university will offer a comprehensive array of courses spanning undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, tailored exclusively for the pharmaceutical domain.
The project design prioritizes ensuring conducive environments for learning and research. Recognizing the importance of architectural innovation, the design emphasizes energy-saving principles as its core concept, while also integrating interactive spaces and plazas. These elements promote collaboration and engagement within the university community. Due to the time constraint, this thesis includes University site planning, Building design of Academic block, Laboratory block and Library, Conceptual design of Administration block, Auditorium, Hostels and Residences.
