INTERPLAY OF RECTANGULAR FORM

About client -Businesman (Diamond jwellers -30yrs) -Actress (26 yrs) -Two Daughters (9 & 5 yrs) -Grandparents (64, 60 yrs) Requirements -Waiting room Living room Dining Kitchen Family room Guest room

PLANWISE -Plan parallel to contour lines -Three rectangular plans depicting public, Semi-public and private space -(Fig i shows the planes in same line where sunrays could penetrate partially) -(Fig ii shows the plans in different line where sunrays could penetrate properly) -(Fig iii shows interconnection between two lines) Elevation wise As shown in fig, one rectangular form parallel to north and another inclined to south direction The form so formed is played in elevation MASTER PLAN SITE AREA : 1ROPANI 22 AANA

LOCATION: PIMBAHAL, PUKHU located at west of historical Patan city SURRROUNDING (inside site): Sulima, Chankhu, Chayabahal, Pimbahal,etc (Chandeshwori temple at the east Ashok stupa at west)

PROBLEMS -Light & ventilation -Parking -No height restriction -Social gathering space as haphazard parking

space

CONCEPT: Conservation of pimbahal pukhu area with the existing socio-cultural aspects to address today’s way of living with the traditional essence.

 To create new life with the existing socio-cultural elements  To address today’s way of living with the traditional essence  For the better enhancement of the upgrowing population in a systematic way

Group work of 6 members My Inputs : -Zoning and In Planning Approches -In creating spaces : Northern Plaza, North-East Cluster,Pimbahal Pukhu Space and South-West Cluster -3d renderings
