Our mission will never end and will be successful only if (like our Corps), young Marines learn from their predecessors and train those who follow, continuing in a never ending circle of growth, success and training others to do the same! The only difference will be that these Marines will be trained to exit the combat mentality and re-enter the civilian world as clear-thinking, hard-working, successful civilian Marines.

Mission Statement
Harvey W. Senter, Founder Harvey W. Senter is a self-employed entrepreneur from Sumter SC whose active-duty and reserve service in the United States Marine Corps helped to shape his life and motivate his will to succeed! Born the second son of a U.S. Navy Chaplain while stationed in Hastings Nebraska in 1946, Senter grew up and attended public schools in Greenville South Carolina, where he participated in recreation and sports much more enthusiastically than in his matriculative endeavors. He did however manage to get by and always loved to work and find creative ways to earn his keep. After working his way through the University of Tennessee, he graduated and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1968 where his world view and life perspectives changed dramatically! Serving as the second squad leader from day one of Boot Camp and receiving his first promotion to Private First Class at the graduation ceremony remain two of his most gratifying lifetime accomplishments. Much like his beloved father, his new Marine Corps family led, trained, challenged, motivated, pushed and followed him through many challenging experiences and urged him onward to new levels of never-say-die commitments and ultimate successes. To this day (along with his tattered and worn Bible) Senter often finds himself going to his “seabag” of experiences for tried and tested “plumb lines”, especially when faced with challenging situations and difficult decisions. His enlisted hitch ended when Sgt. Senter completed OCS, attended The Marine Corps’ vaunted Officers Basic School and began his tour of duty in The Fleet by volunteering, testing for and being accepted into Second Recon Battalion on Onslow Beach, Camp Lejeune NC. Here he began developing the special skills and knowledge required of Recon Marines and learning the MANY true meanings of esprit de corps and the unbroken Marine traditions and loyalties. Lt. Senter’s Leatherneck career continued in Vietnam where he served in Alpha Company, First Battalion, First Marines as a platoon commander, leading his devil dog warriors in combat operations. After a brief tour
on Okinawa, Senter returned to serve with his Recon Family on Delmar Beach, Camp Pendleton, California serving as a team leader in First Force Recon and conducting rigorous specific Recon training and “special assignment” missions throughout the United States and other off-shore troubled areas. He separated from active duty in 1972 and was discharged as a Captain upon completion of his reserve obligations to the Corps. Although no longer wearing the uniform with the cherished Eagle, Globe & Anchor, Senter remains nonetheless True to the Corps...to the core! Since 1974, Senter has owned and operated Senter & Associates on Main Street in Sumter South Carolina, a business that focused initially on real estate marketing, sales and management and then gradually grew and transitioned into diverse but closely related companies called The Senterprize Group. Each enterprise specializes in one or more aspects of specific professional skills and services (additional information available upon request). Throughout his career (and especially over the past decade since his spiritual awakening and personal commitment to Christ), Senter often reflects back on his military, professional and personal life (with his beautiful wife Lee and their two now-married children with families of their own), thinking of ways to give back of himself to others who are less fortunate or undergoing setbacks and personal challenges in their lives. His special love for the troops of the Corps invariably rises to the forefront in his thinking, having always been an overriding priority in his emerging vision. The vision is now becoming reality as WARRIORS STILL steps across the Line of Debarkation as a direct, personal, grass roots support unit for Marines, corpsmen and other like-minded privately funded and operated programs that focus on the healing, training and wellbeing of United States Marines and corpsmen injured in theaters of combat around the globe. Assisting these gallant warriors in their transition from the pit of despair to joyful, healthy, productive contributors to our American culture is the sole objective and steadfast purpose of WARRIORS STILL!
