Store No 6310 Truly amazed and excited after experiencing a Rite in the Rain demonstration, Blanca moved our POP from the fastener aisle to her Pro Desk and began customer demos. She created enthusiasm for Rick Klein, the Crown Bolt Regional Manager when he saw how much the customers liked what Rite in the Rain could do in the field.

Store No 4040 James LaVerne, the Crown Bolt district manager for the Northwest with Shannon, the Pro Supervisor loved the PK (product Knowledge) Clinic and called the entire Pro Desk Staff to come watch as well; quickly turning a Pro Team with no knowledge of Rite in the Rain into product advocates.

The Rite in the Rain story began a century ago in the forests of the Great Pacific Northwest.

Entrepreneur Jerry Darling recognized the logging industry’s need for a durable material that could be written on and survive in poor weather conditions.

Jerry developed a special J. L. DARLING coating that created a unique est. 1916 moisture shield on the handdipped sheets of paper that he and his wife, Mary, processed at their home. From these humble beginnings, our first all-weather paper was born. Over the many years we've perfected and patented our environmentally responsible coating process. Still located in Tacoma, our continued mission is to provide innovative products for professionals and enthusiasts who brave the outdoors.
