This museum was built to preserve the different Indus Valley Civilization artefacts that had been uncovered at the site.

This museum’s layout is divided into many blocks for permanent and temporary exhibits. The major goal of using the block approach is to create a passageway or space between various art galleries, which will refresh the mind of anyone moving to the next block. A transarent glass and steel framework has been added to the skywalks to allow for contact with the outside world. A central courtyard with seat ing areas and different types of vegetation creates a lively environment.
