BERKSHIRE BIG CURRY Following on from last year's success, the Berkshire County Committee organised a second BIG CURRY event at the Madjeski Stadium in Reading on 27th January this year. Thanks to very generous sponsorship from individual supporters and organisations all costs were covered and the event raised ÂŁ8,000 for the Charity. In addition to a number of local businesses the event was supported by 145 Brigade and several local units were represented. The guest speaker was Lt Col Mark Budden, Commanding Officer 101 Engineer Regiment (EOD) along with his team, which included two members who had been severely wounded in Afghanistan. So we are fortunate to have brilliant volunteers whose efforts reflect the huge range of exciting fundraising events outlined in these pages, right across the Region. Whether on Committees, supporting organised events or simply 'doing their own thing' we are so grateful to have their support. If you would like to join us please contact us through the website or phone direct on 01252-348270.
