rom Russian ballet to Bronx hip-hop, the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts has something for everyone this spring. Check out their calendar below.

Sunday, April 12 at 4 p.m. Russian National Ballet Theater: ‘Swan Lake’ Stylish choreography and masterful storytelling will make this performance of “Swan Lake” a memorable one. The story centers around Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette — who is cursed by evil sorcerer Von Rothbart to take the form of a swan by day — and Odile, the black swan who is sent by Von Rothbart to keep Siegfried and Odette apart so his spell on Odette cannot be broken. Broadway moves to the Bronx Hailed by “The New York Times” as one of “Broadway’s electric conductors,” Todd Ellison is one of the most accomplished and sought after directors working today. Join Lehman for the final installment of “Broadway Moves to the Bronx,” featuring classics in concert as vocalists perform hit songs from famed Broadway musicals. The show is scheduled to feature David Hibbard, from Broadways “Spamalot,” “Billy Elliot,” and “Cats;” Lewis Cleale, who will be taking a night off from “The Book of Mormon;” Kathryn Guthrie, from New York City Opera; and Kirsten Wyatt from Broaways “Annie” and “Elf.” Program subject to change. Mint Condition generated some buzz, but it wasn’t until Washington D.C.’s WHUR-FM (Howard University’s famed college radio station) broke the follow-up ballad, 1991’s “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)” that the band experienced their first runaway smash. After that, two other albums — “From the Mint Factory” and “Definition of a Band” — plus a chain of hit singles followed. Tony! Toni! Toné! crashed out of their Oakland neighborhood in 1988 with their Gold debut album “Who?” That spawned the hit “Little Walter.” In 1990, to both critical and popular acclaim, their second album, “The Revival,” included four number one Billboard hits.
