The Family Assistance Office is set up in Centrelink and Medicare Offices. Responsible for payment of CCB for care in long day care centres, Family Day Care schemes, occasional care services, outside school hours services and vacation care services which have been approved by the Commonwealth. The Family Assistance Office is responsible for decisions about the amount of care for which CCB can be paid. Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri, Call centre 8am-8pm Mon-Fri.
