Environmental Management Team Leader Tony Phelps said since Council created the wetland in 2016, the area’s vegetation and birdlife had increased dramatically. “Marrambidya Wetland is an important natural asset and unique in that it’s a diverse ecosystem just a few minutes from the main street,” Mr Phelps said. The draft Marrambidya Wetland Master Plan will be presented to Council with a view to proceed to public exhibition in May 2022. Take the survey at connect.
