Water safety campaign launched A new water safety campaign focused on respecting the river and looking out for your friends at local waterways was launched in Wagga Wagga this week.
The campaign will be prominent across Council and Royal Life Saving social media channels as the hot weather continues into the last month of summer. Council Strategic Asset Planner Ben Creighton said the launch of this latest campaign was timely as temperatures are set to soar this weekend. “We want to reinforce the message to stay safe around local waterways and to respect the river,” Mr Creighton said.
