Welcome to spring The city and surrounds come to life in spring, with a full calendar of food, outdoor festivals, events and shows. September starts with the Wagga 6 Hour Mountain Bike Enduro, followed by the Wagga Lake Run Ride. If you’re after more of a challenge, the annual Gears and Beers festival over the October long weekend features a number of cycling events followed by a craft beer and cider celebration in the city centre. If you prefer something with an engine, be sure to head to the MG Car Club of Wagga Wagga’s Gathering of the Faithful or see some big rigs for a good cause at the Riverina Truck Show and Kids Convoy. For more family-friendly fun, the Little Big Day Out in October offers free interactive activities for two to 12 year olds. October also features one of Wagga Wagga’s biggest events – FUSION17 Multicultural Street Festival, which showcases the food, art, culture and music from around the world and attracts more than 10,000 people each year. Hungry for more? Visit one of the region’s amazing events or sink your teeth into “Devour” to satisfy your thirst and hunger this Spring.
