WHAT’S

ON winter

WAGGA WAGGA + SURROUNDS

Welcome to winter It’s easy to distract yourself from the winter chill when there’s plenty to see + do. This winter in Wagga Wagga starts with a laneway revival you won’t want to miss. Rug up and rediscover a hidden pocket of our city. Lost Lanes combines urban-funk murals, soulful sounds and hearty comfort food to warm your belly. Cold, what cold? For three nights in June laugh until your belly hurts with some of the nation’s best comedians. Returning for the fourth year, The Wagga Comedy Fest will set the Civic Theatre alight with amazing stand-up, slap-stick and improvisation. Frost, that doesn’t bother me. Next, let’s turn the temperature up and learn some of the best culinary skills at Wagga’s own professional cooking school. Join the Food I am crew and special guests for hands-on cooking classes suited to all skill levels. Rain, yeah, I’ll play in the puddles. What else is there to do in Winter in Wagga? Browse all the wares at the Wagga Wagga Swap Meet, pull the runners on for the Wagga Wagga Trail Marathon or head out of town for the Temora Aircraft Showcase or the Cootamundra Wattle Time Fair and Street Parade. With an abundance of things to see + do, why not do winter in reverse this year? Rug up, head out and create some warmth and fun of your own, right here in Wagga.
