Wildwood is a hot country music band that delivers performances that are fresh and fun. l WILDWOOD FEATURING CHAD TRUMAN

July 3, 8:30 p.m. - Riverton City Park. This concert is open to all, bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening of country music, followed immediately by the firework show at 10 p.m. Wildwood was formed by Chad Truman, the Nashville-raised singer and songwriter who is in demand for his rich vocals. Chad has performed multiple times at prestigious Nashville venues including the Grand Ole Opry and Bluebird Cafe. Learning piano chops from his father (Dan Truman of Diamond Rio), Chad has written or sang on six Billboard charting albums. He is also a member of the popular Christian group Nashville Tribute Band.

l COUNTRY MILE: 10K, 5K & 1-MILE July 3, 7 a.m. (10K), 7:15 a.m. (5K) and 8:30 a.m. (1-Mile) - In conjunction with Riverton Town Days, the Riverton Country Mile Races are popular family traditions. Celebrate your independence and start the day off strong by participating in these great races at the Riverton City Park. $20 Registration *Shirts are an additional $10. CHUCKWAGON BREAKFAST

l CHUCKWAGON BREAKFAST July 3, 7-10 a.m. - A Town Days favorite! Featuring traditional breakfast food and large portions, no one leaves hungry. Riverton City’s elected officials and administration prepare and serve the food at this favorite event. Food will be served until 10 a.m. at the large pavilion at Riverton City Park. Come early to avoid the rush! Cost is $5 per person, $3 for ages 3-12, 2 and under free. Tickets may be purchased online to avoid the lines (preferred) at rivertonutah.gov/towndays/ breakfast.php or they can be purchased at the breakfast (cash or check on day of).

CAR SHOW

l CAR SHOW July 1, 4-9 p.m. - Get up close and see dozens of awesome cars of all types and styles from classic restorations to one-of-a-kind custom builds. Free and open to all. Located at City Hall Park, just west of Riverton City Hall. Car Show Entries: If you would like to enter a vehicle, contact Blaine Thompson at 801-654-1169 or rhrp57@yahoo.com.

July 2, ~9:30 p.m. - Come enjoy a FREE outdoor movie with family and friends at Riverton City Park! Bring blankets & chairs and enjoy The Croods 2. A fun family film for the entire family. (77% RottenTomatoes)

July 3, 6:30 a.m. - Start your day of events by the dawns early light. Come watch the American Legion raise the flag and present a 21-gun salute. The National Anthem will be sung and a patriotic reading will take place. It’s a great way to start your day.

July 3, 8 a.m. - Tournament style depends on number of participants. Registration is by team, so only one person will need to register. The registration deadline is June 26 at noon. $20 per team register or learn more at rivertonutah.gov/towndays/tournaments.

July 3, 8:30 a.m. - FREE swimming at the South County Pool, located at 12765 S 1125 W in Riverton. A great way to beat the heat and start your 4th of July with a splash. Show up anytime after 8:30 a.m. Free swimming ends at 11:30 a.m. Entry fee required after 11:30 a.m.

July 3, 10 a.m. - A huge hit in 2019 and back by popular demand. Register your Cornhole team early as spots will fill fast. Ages 13+. Cost is $20 per team. Number of teams will be limited. Register at rivertonutah.gov/towndays/ tournaments.

July 3, 10 a.m. - Registration opens, contest begins at 11 a.m. Are you destined to be a champion? Be a part of the very popular Town Days Pie Eating Contest. First round winners will be given the opportunity to compete in the final round. Ages 13+ are welcome.

FIREWORK SHOW

July 3, 10 p.m. - Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and come enjoy a fantastic firework show at Riverton City Park! Show begins following the Wildwood Concert. Come early, grab some food and find a place to watch. Fireworks will be launched from the Riverton Rodeo Arena. No seating is permitted inside the firework fallout zone (see map in centerfold).
