By Fred Groves Since the pandemic began there has been a drastic increase in the number of pets that are being adopted. And that means that the men and women who work as veterinarians and technicians are busier and for at least one local Animal Hospital, it has meant having to adapt the way in which they deliver their services. own homes. “Cats that are stressed don’t have to be put into a box or a cage now,” she noted of the convenience. There still are many services in which pet owners will have to bring their pets into the clinic such as surgery and long-term care but, according to Dr. Quinn the mobile clinic will assist some elderly pet owners who might now want to make the trip to the hospital. “Maybe they have a wound that needs antibiotic. We can go out and examine the animal,” explains Dr. Quinn.
