Unlike some years, 2023 didn’t yield an obvious choice for best album, but it was exceptionally deep in quality releases. Here are 40 albums that stood out for me in 2023. Wilco: “Cousin” – Working with an outside producer for the first time since 2007’s “Sky Blue
