Bayonne Sumner Sounds by the Bay Summer 2024 Schedule

The Bayonne Division of Recreation has announced the 2024 Summer Sounds By the Bay Concert Series.

Weather permitting, each performance will begin promptly on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm and held

at the amphitheater on the lower level of DiDomenico-16th Street Park, which is located between Avenue A and Newark Bay. The concerts are scheduled for Wednesdays from June 26 through August 21, with August 28 as a rain date. Pete Amadeo, Superintendent of Recreation, said, “For over thirty years, the Summer Sounds by the Bay has been a town favorite in the park during the summer. It provides great music in a great setting.” Amadeo continued, “We are ready for a great summer. We have a great lineup of music, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying the summer nights.”

June 26 – AM Gold Yacht Rock: They are the best tribute band performing

adult-contemporary hit songs from the mid1970s through the mid1980s. Artists include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, Lionel Richie, and many more! Coming at you hard and ready to get the party started!

July 10 - The Ultimate Elvis Performance with Richie Santa!

In the last 12 years, Richie has performed over 900 shows as an Elvis Tribute Artist focusing on the Vegas concert years. The Love and respect Richie has for Elvis is evident in all his performances!

July 17 – WinslowEagles Tribute Band: Winslow Tribute Band celebrates the iconic American Band, The Eagles. This powerhouse ensemble recreates the live

performance of The Eagles and the signature sound that made them one of the most successful artists in the 70’s. A passion for detail, Winslow ‘s multi-lead vocalists authentically capture the soaring 5-part harmonies, precise instrumentation, and stage showmanship as they perform The Eagles music catalog.

July 24 –Doobie Others:

The Hoboken Historical Museum is proud to present our upcoming exhibit “HOBOKEN TRASH: THE WORKS OF JEREMY ROCHE” in the Upper Gallery! Born and raised in Long Island, Jeremy Roche is an abstract artist who repurposes trash into art. While trained as a mechanical engineer at Stevens Institute of Technology, Jeremy looked beyond the sciences to carve out his creative journey. This exhibit includes 30+ pieces - the majority of the materials are derived from Hoboken’s trash that Jeremy transformed into brilliant pieces of art. Jeremy’s work encourages the viewers to reflect candidly about our consumerist habits and impact on the environment. We take lessons from his resourcefulness and how we assign value and potential to objects.
