New Pfizer Walkin Vaccine Site in Ward B Now Open to Ages 12+ with 6,000 Vaccines at the Ready Mayor Steven M. Fulop joins the Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services announcing the newest City-run vaccination site that opened on Thursday, May 13th , at the Maureen Collier Senior Center in Ward B with 6,000 Pfizer vaccines available to residents, students, and workers in Jersey City ages 12 and up, following the federal government’s expansion of age eligibility to include 12- to 15-yearolds. Per federal guidelines, guardian consent will be required for anyone under 18. Vaccine appointments can be made online or through the City’s call center at (201) 373-2316. Walk-ins are also welcome. “We’re seeing our infection rates drop to some of the lowest levels in over a year, all as a result of people getting vaccinated,” said Mayor Fulop. “ The Maureen Collier Senior Center, located at 335 Bergen Avenue, will be open as a vaccination site Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This weekend the Collier Center will remain open on Saturday, May 15th, to invite more people to get vaccinated. Beginning Monday, May 17th, the Ferris High School vaccination site will also offer Pfizer. Hudson County actress Tammy Blanchard will reprise her role as Audrey in The Off Broadway smash Little Shop of Horrors which will resume its pandemic-interrupted run at the Westside Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 21, producers announced last week.
