rt-wise, Jersey City sure has changed since the early ‘90s. Back then, the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour was a handful of artists opening their studios to the public with a potluck reception in somebody’s apartment. Fast-forward to 2018, and the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour (JCAST) has become a city-wide event attracting 1,000 artists who will exhibit their work at 150 venues throughout Jersey City. This year’s studio tour is presented by Bank of America, Mayor Steven M. Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council, and the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs. JCAST begins Thursday, Oct. 4, with a kick-off reception from 6-9 pm at JCAST HQ located at the Pathside building adjacent to the Journal Square PATH Station.
