The Italian eighteenth century focuses on Venetian artists, ranging from Canaletto to Guardi and from Tiepolo to Bellotto, represented in a selection of their key pieces.

Tuscany and the Veneto in the sixteenth century and Caravaggio-style paintings in the seventeenth century offer visitors a broad overview of the main figures that marked the course of history of art over the last five centuries in Europe and America.

chance to try all kinds of food and wine products from the local area and other Italian regions. Storytellers meet up here each year to narrate charming ballads, competing in a national event dedicated especially to them.

Hanging from the arch in central Piazza Ganganelli are two huge bull’s horns! That’s right “the sign of the cuckold”: they await participants of the “cuckolds’” race and sway when someone who has been betrayed walks underneath!

Other events include the “Palio della Piadina”, a competition open to all amateurs who want to try their hand at preparing traditional piadina.

Every summer, these are cleaned and dried out by lighting a straw and shrub fire inside them. A table is placed in the base and the walls covered with wood and cane frames lined with straw. Then Pecorino cheeses are placed in white cotton sacks and put into the ditches, which are closed using another table and chalk. After three months, this unmistakeable product is removed. The public can purchase this delicious cheese directly from the producers.

Lots of quality products from all over Italy that are twinned with Ambra di Talamello cheese are also on display and can be sampled and purchased.
