Originally from Monza, thanks to this song the singer managed to stand out and was one of the favourites for victory on the final evening. The musician is also artistic director of the “Gioventù Ribelle” project, an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Youth to celebrate the Unity of Italy. A cultural bridge between north and south Europe. The 5th edition of the “Mediterranean” International Summer School of the University of Bologna intends to build a cultural bridge between “Mediterraneans” and rediscover, with the help of history, the historical, cultural and trade relations between northern territories and Italy, in particular, Venice and the coastal regions of the Adriatic. The itinerant school is hosted in Cattolica (25−26 May), Saludecio (27 May), San Giovanni in Marignano (28 May), Gabicce Mare (29 May) and Pesaro (30 May) and offers the opportunity to combine study sessions, held by university professors and experts in various disciplinary fields, with excursions on the territory, guided visits to exhibitions and key sites, museum exhibitions and eco−museums and participation in events aimed at raising awareness of local food and wine, in order to optimize the educational offer, promote the towns involved and at the same time, open new doors for tourism.
The 2011 edition is particularly important because during the last two days (29 and 30 May) it will welcome the XVII Forum of the Association of Mediterranean Maritime Museums that will help raise awareness regarding museum realities and ongoing research projects with speeches by representatives on “The Immaterial Heritage of the Culture of the Sea”.
