DAY 1 – Arrival in Malaga

Arrive at Malaga airport for your transfer to your hotel. Tonight we will enjoy an informal drinks reception followed by dinner for a chance to get to know your travel companions better. (D)

DAY 2 – Ronda

Built on a ridge and split by a most impressive gorge plunging down hundreds of feet, much of Ronda’s appeal lies in its spectacular views and clear mountain air. We continue our scenic drive to Seville where another treat awaits, as this evening we enjoy delicious tapas. Over the centuries, with the introduction of olives, tomatoes, peppers and potatoes, tapas dishes gradually evolved into a most delightful tradition. DAY 3 – Seville

Seville is one of the most beautiful and charismatic cities in the world, with the serene River Guadalquivir flowing through its centre. Little has changed in 500 years in its tiny twisting streets and hidden squares. It possesses a vibrant spirit and the city of Figaro is the home of flamenco. DAY 4 – Free day in Seville

On your free day you could visit the Alcázar, the fortified palace of the Moors, the cathedral, the Barrio Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter of the medieval city, and the smart pedestrianised Calle Sierpes, a street full of beautiful shops selling high-quality leather goods. DAY 5 – Córdoba

We head to delightful Córdoba, with decorated patios adorned with flowers. Our guided walking tour includes the Mezquita, the grandest and most beautiful mosque constructed in the Moorish world. Another highlight is the immense, well-preserved Roman bridge. We continue our journey to the city of Granada, the last stronghold of the sultans during the Middle Ages and home to the Alhambra, the most spectacular gem of Moorish Andalucía. DAY 6 – Granada & The Alhambra

Granada has a naturally dramatic location, nestling against the backdrop of permanently snow-capped mountains soaring majestically to 11,000 feet. Today we visit the exquisitely designed Alhambra, with its beautiful gardens and peaceful setting. You can also explore the city with its twisting streets, the old Moorish quarter and the traditional gypsy area. Granada also boasts some of the most distinctive old bars in Spain, many of them decorated with antique tiles, where taking a drink and a few tapas can be an excuse for a unique, authentically Andalucían experience. DAY 7 – Return flight

Transfer to Malaga or Granada airport (depending on your departure date) for your return flight. (B)
