DAY 1 – Arrival & Norwich Guided Tour

Arrive in Norwich where you will be warmly welcomed to your four-star hotel. Norwich is one of the most complete Medieval cities and this afternoon we enjoy a guide tour. Major landmarks include the imposing medieval castle and the cathedral, boasting the second largest cloisters in England. Tonight we enjoy an informal drinks reception followed by dinner to get to know our fellow travellers. (D) + Included Experience – Guided tour of Norwich

DAY 2 – Sandringham Estate

We head to the Sandringham Estate for a visit to the royal residence and its extensive gardens. We explore a number of rooms, including some which are still in use by the Royal Family. Best of all, the expansive gardens offer everything from woodland to more formal areas. On returning to Norwich, we enjoy a delightful cream tea in the hotel. (B) + Included Experiences – Visit Sandringham Estate and gardens; enjoy afternoon tea at your hotel

DAY 3 – Sheringham & Poppy Line Train

Our destination is Sheringham, where we will have free time to enjoy this traditional coastal town with its pebble beaches and scenic coastal paths. Pack your walking boots for a stroll along the beach to the Blakeney National Nature Reserve. Next we experience the Poppy Line Train, once used by city-dwelling Victorians when they visited, and it had just opened as the North Norfolk railway. We ride on the delightfully restored North Norfolk train for ourselves, boarding a vintage woodpanelled coach to Holt through an area called ‘Poppyland’. (B) + Included Experiences – Visit to Sheringham and journey on the Poppy Line Train

DAY 4 – Blickling Hall & Norfolk Broads Cruise

Today we drive to the Blickling Estate to witness first-hand its breathtaking gardens and lavishly decorated mansion. Next, we enjoy a relaxing boat cruise, the finest way to discover this wonderful area. As well as picturesque windmills dotted in the distance, it’s a true paradise for wildlife; gaze at colourful kingfishers, bouncing otters and tawny bitterns hiding amongst the white waterlilies and rare fen orchids. (B) + Included Experiences – Visit Blickling Hall and cruise on the Norfolk Broads

DAY 5 – Return

After time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, why not pay a visit to Norwich Market? One of the biggest outdoor markets in the UK, treat yourself to a bunch of fresh blooms, fresh produce or locally made crafts. (B)
