RIVISA® is the first Spanish manufacturer and installer of Perimeter Protection Systems and one of the main European manufacturers. We design, manufacture and install fences and gates for all types of facilities that require physical perimeter protection.
RIVISA® is the continuation of a family business tradition that began in 1854 when Francisco Rivière Bonneton introduced single-twisted wire mesh to Spain from England.

STRAIGHT SECTION
The end posts are installed at the beginning and the end of the fence, the mid posts every 3m and the tension posts every 30m of straight section. In hard or highly compacted soil the foundation may be optionally substituted by an anchoring system that is mechanically driven into the soil, the post being less than or greater than the useful height of the fence.
STEPPED SECTION
On the steps, install the longest post (normal length + step height) on the lower part of the fence and clamp the mesh to the upper and lower sections of the mesh. Install twice the number of brackets for the tension wires and struts on the post.
SLOPED SECTION
On the level changes of the fence (in other words, when the gradient of the slope changes), install a straight tension post. The posts on the slanted sections of the fence must be vertically levelled, so that they are oblique to the direction of the tension wires (parallel to the ground) and to the mesh.

POSTS AND ACCESSORIES

1 Mark the line of the pen with a rope. Cement the posts, with the rack facing outwards, starting with the ends, the tension posts and finally the intermediate posts.
5 Stretch and tension the mesh, stapling it to the nearest tensioning post.
2 Lay the net on the outside of the floor.
6 Pass the 3 rows of yarn between the meshes from one tensioning post to the next and tighten them, starting with the bottom row.
3 Connect the necessary rolls of mesh to complete the entire section.
7 Tension the wires between each pair of tension poles, starting with the bottom row.
4 Staple the mesh to the end post by inserting the ends of the clamp with the clamp into the holes in the zip tie and closing to tighten. Repeat the process.
8 Staple the wire strands to the intermediate posts and the fabric strands to the tensioning posts.

There are several ways of installing the enclosure, adding complementary elements that will increase the efficacy and protection of the system.
OPTION 1. ASSEMBLING CONCERTINA
Concertina is the perfect complement for security perimeter protection. It dissuades any trespassing attempt. Rivisa recommends using the Harpoon-type concertina, with a diameter of 600x50mm, finished in galvanised stainless steel. Different combinations are available.
CONCERTINA FEATURES
Reinforced stainless steel blades are a very aggressive product. The blades are designed in order to improve the anchoring effect in situations where a maximum security is needed.
ASSEMBLING CONCERTINA ON A CONCRETE WALL
A concrete wall may be added to the High Security System. A double concertina can be installed to increase the security.
OPTION 2: ANTI-CLIMB MESH
ANTI-CLIMB MESH
The anti-climb mesh is a perfect complement for this system. It prevents intruders from introducing their feet or fingers through the chain-link mesh. In penitentiaries, it is recommended to install an anti-climb mesh measuring 10x10x0.8mm. In correctional facilities, it is recommended to install an anti-climb mesh measuring 6x6x0.8mm.
OPTION 3: BARBED WIRE
Barbed wire is the perfect complement for medium and high security enclosures.It grants better security of the perimeter. 3 or 4 lines of barbed wire can be installed.

• Safety devices are included for protection against crushing, shear and dragging during the normal operation of the sliding motorised doors. There is also protection against crushing in the event of failure of the automatic features or electrical supply, providing “justification of design”, tested in line with UNE EN 12453, UNE EN 12445 and UNE EN 12978 as included in the aforementioned guidelines.
• Each gate will include remote control with a properly equipped manoeuvre control panel and feature an IP65 outdoor rating, allowing remote start-and-stop operation of each gate leaf independently. It is also possible to supply a set of limit switches that can announce the status (closing/opening) of every leaf associated with the sliding gates independently.
• The opening and closing manoeuvres will both be achievable (in the case of motorised gates) by means of two possible control methods:
1. Semi-automatic control: This is initiated when a person issues the command via a button. The gate will under no circumstances be able to close automatically.

In the case of railings filled with a 6/5/6 double-thread panel, the HEIGHT of the railing from the ground is 1m 15 (recessed into the ground by 40cm) and the distance between vertical posts is 2m 61.
The Double Thread infill guardrail panels are fixed to the vertical posts with metal clamps.
