This is my very first studio project when I studied at the International Urban design back then in the UK. the site is located in the most diverse street in the UK, the Narborough Road in Leicester. this unique character unfortunately not followed by the success story. the deprivation in economic and other urban issues still occurs in this area, thus I did the intervention by creating the new hub of attraction in the heart of the city. connecting the residential area on the west side and the university on the east side by the "green belt" infrastructure is increasing the economy and definitely solve some issues in the community. this infrastructure is in the form of a continuous and circular bridge that provides easy access to each attraction and creating public spaces with the retail area along the path. I also create adequate street furniture, promenade, bike lane, children playground, and even the elevator and ramp are also provided to create a public space which accessible for everyone.
