This is my second studio's work, which aims to create some sort of regeneration project on the waterside area in Leicester. the site is located on an island within the River Soar and Grand Union Canal. the project is quite challenging since we should rejuvenate the area where was renowned as an industrial zone. therefore, I do the intervention by creating a mixed-use project combining a grand union canal museum, retail area, and also public space that can be utilized to support the activity in the canal such as recreational or sports purposes. this intervention was carried out to overcome some urban issues in the local community such as income deprivation, high rate crime index, and so on.
