Zero You might not be able to do something like the big brand you used to work for,
NO. IT’S NOT REGRET. ううん 後悔じゃないわ
Just surprised at the realization of what I’ve had to let go of in exchange for this treasure.
今まで働いていた大きなブランドと 同じことは出来ないだろうけど
But perhaps if you did something special, even by yourself, you would get some kind of appreciation? たったひとりでも スペシャルなことをやれば 世間は認めてくれると思うよ?
この宝物を引き換えに 手放してしまったものの大きさに 気づいて驚いているだけ
Something I can do now, by myself…? 今のこの私にたった一人で出来ること̶̶?
yes, you’re always crying… ……いつも泣いているんだね
10 balls of yarn, 毛玉を10玉
…… ……
Hey. ねえ。
what about starting up again? Some knitting needles…
また始めてみたら?
あと編み棒も……
what? え?
You are not a princess in a fairy tale.
How about knitting something totally unique,
きみは童話の中のお姫様じゃない
どこにもないデザインのニットを編もう
You don’t have to give up anything.
Something only I could knit!
なにも諦める必要はないんだよ
私にしか作れないニットを!

Q1. How long have you been wearing sacai? A1. I am wearing sacai since I discover it, after the first show in Paris.
Q1. How long have you been wearing sacai? A1. Since the fall of 2013: the softly deranged classicism of the collection drew me in.
Q2. What was the first item from sacai you purchased? A2. My first piece is a trompe l’oeil tweed jacket, navy blue color. The blouse is black satin and the sleeves are blue tweed and a sleeveless blue tweed jacket that you wear on top. Very disarticulated old Chanel, genius.
Q2. What was the first item from sacai you purchased? A2. The 3-piece light blue tweed suit I am wearing in the picture. The cut is quite classic, but the color is truly off-kilter. For me, at least.
Q3. In what occasion do you wear sacai? A3. I wear sacai day or night, anytime.
Q3. In what occasion do you wear sacai? A3. I wear it day by day. The clothes are so versatile: comfortable and easy and adaptable.

Q4. When did you purchase the item you are wearing in the snapshot? And why do you like this item? A4. I had that item from the winter 2014 season. I love it cause it is a dress a top a coat for day for night for chic for grunge for easy or for impressing others. It is a complicated garment that is much more easy to wear than a simple one. You can hide in the back of it or you can be super yourself and confidant. It is not a vampire look it is just mega cool. Q5. What do you think about the creation of sacai? Why do you like this brand? A5. I love sacai because it is a funny collage and very feminine, it is a strong look but also very natural and cool. Sacai is weirdly a feminine tomboy It is Japanese and Japanese fashion is always intriguing I would not wear a total look but it is really cool with Parisian vibe.

Q4. When did you purchase the item you are wearing in the snapshot? And why do you like this item? A4. I did get it in November 2013 I usually wear suits, a lot, but this season was looking for something both impeccable and innovative. This suit has both. Q5. What do you think about the creation of sacai? Why do you like this brand? A5. I like the subtleness of the sacai approach. The collections are filled with innovative ideas, details, hybrid solutions, yet they never scream or blatantly attract attention. I find sacai very poetic too: it is, metaphorically speaking, a soft brand, which for me is an enormous plus.

Editor-at-Large of Style.com Q1. How long have you been wearing sacai? A1. Not long enough! Until recently, I’ve been admiring sacai from afar. Q2. What is your first piece of sacai? A2. A varsity jacket with a tweed body and white leather sleeves Q3. In what occasion, are you wearing sacai? A3. When it gets much colder Q4. When did you purchase the item you are wearing in the snapshot? And why do you like this item? A4. At the beginning of the fall season Long answer: it’s one of Chitose Abe’s perfect hybrids of formal (the classic cloth) and sporty (the classic style). Short answer: I feel good in it. Q5. What do you think about the creation of sacai? Why do you like this brand? A5. Sacai is everything I love intellectually about Japanese design: it’s intelligent, thought-provoking, rigorous - and slightly unhinged. But where sacai is different is that it is also infused with a humor and sensuality that make it irresistible in a plain old physical way. In other words, the clothes are good to wear. And they’re charming, seductive even. For that, I give all credit to Chitose Abe and her right-hand man Daisuke Gemma. I’ve always found collections are most convincing when they give you a strong sense of the creative force behind them. And Chitose is her own best advertisement.
Q1. How long have you been wearing sacai? A1. About 8 years ago – I was in Tokyo on a buying trip and came across it. It was just a tiny collection back then. Q2. What was the first item from sacai you purchased? A2. It was a cardigan with satin finishes and a ruffle on the back. Q3. In what occasion, do you wear sacai? A3. I wear a lot of sacai, I have a pretty relaxed style and I have brought a lot of the outwear pieces and shirting. I am known for always wearing biker jackets and I must say I own about 3 different bikers from sacai. I own about 40 pieces of sacai and wear it a lot. Q4. When did you purchase the item you are wearing in the snapshot? And why do you like this item? A4. I am wearing a reconstructed coach jacket dress. I just love how Chitose mixes up different types of garments to create something unique. I paired it with a Vince striped pullover, Alaïa heels, Eddie Borgo bracelet, and vintage Omega watch. Q5 What do you think about the creation of sacai? Why do you like this brand? A5. To say that I have been obsessed with sacai would be an understatement, Chitose says she is always seeing me photographed wearing so many different pieces from her collections over the years and they are nothing to do with trends of the season, they are so unique that nothing is comparable, you wear sacai and you cannot mistake it for anything else – it is so special – the mixing of fabrications and volumes, the art in which you have to truly do a full 360 degree look at the whole piece as its not 1 or even 2 dimensional. Every season I cannot believe what we see each time, she literally blows us out of the water every time and yet what I love with all that you get in design and extraordinary fabrications there is something about sacai that doesn’t scream out, its extraordinary that its special, the clothes are noticeable and attract a lot of attention, but your never a “peacock” wearing something to get noticed!
