A Message from the President/CEO BUILDING A ROADMAP TO 2022 |
CHAMBER 3.0 INITIATIVE
Welcome to the 2019 Business Plan issue of the Chamber Voice. This quick-guide was created to introduce you to the Strategic Plan’s Critical Success Factors and supporting Program of Work. Our mission is “to be the voice of business, to promote and initiate responsible economic growth, and to address community challenges in the Rogers-Lowell Area and region.” We’re celebrating our 97th year as the premiere advocacy organization for business and we take our leadership role of being the Keeper of the
Community Vision and Voice of Business seriously. To accomplish our mission, we’re growing business and building community through mission-based strategic focus areas and increased collaboration with our members, partners and investors. Strategic areas of focus include economic development, downtown development, workforce recruitment and retention, government affairs, small business outreach, destination marketing, community education and leadership programs, and long-range community planning to improve quality of life. Last year, we embarked on a journey to explore how the Chamber will adapt and evolve to ensure its best days are ahead. Your input and feedback helped us to envision the future and create our Roadmap to 2022 |
Chamber 3.0 Initiative. This strategic initiative is not an event, program or policy, but rather a filter, a feeling and a benchmark; a combination of mission, vision and values that leads the Chamber to continued relevancy, necessity and competency in a rapidly changing world. This is an intentional effort to be Cohesive, Invigorate and
Influence, carefully chosen words that describe how the Chamber is evolving its role to be a Champion, Catalyst and Convener for the community. I encourage you to take some time to learn more about your Chamber in this Business Plan. We need your involvement and help implementing our Roadmap to 2022 - the year that we celebrate our 100th anniversary. Remember, you inspire the Chamber 3.0 ideas that drive the hard work our team does to create the ideal environment for businesses of all sizes to prosper, and for our community to continue to be a great place to live, work and play.
